  1. Guehi is more "generational" than Eze given he's a regular in the England team. He is a very good player, though.
  2. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/13362697/hearts-brighton-owner-tony-bloom-makes-gbp9-86m-investment-offer-in-scottish-premiership-club Already had a partnership with his analytics firm but looks like he's getting part of the club now too.
  3. Wonder if they're skint now, they've been out of that Play-Off chase for months, he'd normally have been gone by Feb-March.
  4. I don't think he's worse than Miley. I reckon Miley's potential is clearly higher but I don't think there's much in it at the moment.
  5. With or without Miley, I'd still take him. People keep moaning about our bench compared to Villa for example, we need the sort of signings they made with Tielemans and Barkley to pad our squad out. Things like signing Walker-Peters as cover for full-back to allow Hall to play in midfield for example, plus cheap fees like Ndidi. That's £9m in fees (plus sign-on fees and wages obviously) but just by getting those two in, you're strengthening us in LB, RB, DM and LCM relatively cheaply.
  6. He's had games here and been around the first team. I think long-term a season playing regular football would be better for his career than another season as 5-6th choice here.
  7. What level do we think a 5-6th choice midfielder should be? Someone good enough to start for a PL team in reserve for £9m should be a no-brainer for me.
  8. Their fans seem gutted about it and rates pretty well on Whoscored. Change of scenery and better than mates and I reckon he's someone who'd do a job for 15-20 games a season and to help see games out. Might also be at a stage where being a squad player at a club near the top might be preferable to the last 3 seasons battling relegation or playing in the Championship.

    Jacob Murphy

His goal v Palace not even shortlisted for Premier League Goal of the Month.
  10. Ndidi available for £9m. That sort of fee I think he'd be worth taking on as a 5th/6h choice midfielder. Send Miley on loan to Leicester for the season as a sweetener. Their fans are foaming they put in such a cheap clause.
  11. Bottled it or just not quite good enough? It was always going to be tough for them.

  13. It's a shame they haven't been able to keep it going up to the end, but no complaints from our perspective.
  14. We'd probably need to go to Arsenal and get a result if we don't beat them which isn't ideal. Could do with Arsenal knocking PSG out as painful and unlikely as that'll be, just to keep them distracted.
  15. If they can get one of the last two managers back, and a few of the players they took to MK Dons, Crawley & Carlisle who didn't make the step up back as well, they'll have a chance. Not sure they really even want to go up.
  16. Could Hall be the alternative to Joelinton at LCM next season? First-choice LB but if Joelinton is injured/suspended/needs rotated, swap Tino back to LB. Bring in someone like Walker-Peters to the squad to add more depth to full-back when he's needed there. Could save a fortune on a midfielder of that quality.
  17. Maybe they should buddy up with these since Bilbao are our amigos.
  18. Fenerbahce lost and now 8 behind Galatasaray. Game over but it's been the closest I've came to one of those landing.
  19. Targets putting in a strong tackle on a kid when they're getting thumped and trying to get the crowd going, and pretty much bullying a bloke who was likely getting pelters all game, and who despite being shite, was 10x the player O'Nien ever will be.
  20. Very small part of me would like them up just to see this clown so far out of his depth that he goes down as one of the worst ever Premier League footballers.
  21. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/breaking-bristol-rovers-confirm-iigo-10154971 Out ye go, Calderon
  22. Arsenal fans whinging about the Evanilson goal being a handball, even though Odegaard is all over him. If they're going down that route, red card for Odegaard for denying a goal scoring opportunity and penalty to Bournemouth. Or yellow and penalty, whatever the hell the rule is now..
  23. God help them if the club starts charging them ticket prices more in line with the Premier League and they have to start contributing towards their success.
  24. "We feel pretty strong, we drew Bodo/Glimt, a Norwegian team - 'what are they like, oh they are pretty good on a plastic pitch' - that is all we knew. "Obviously we do our analysis, very professional in the modern day - and I don't feel confident saying it - but we professionally took them lightly, and we disrespected them." That is literally it.
  25. That sounds good value.
