Think this only happens if Tonali leaves.
-
Agreed. How many other league's mid-tables would have a side where PSG & Real Madrid come and pluck their centre-back pairing from for example?
-
Guehi can just sit tight though? Doubt they'd drop him especially after they turned down a move for him.in the summer.

The Harrods Stoke City at it again.

Lewis Miley: signs six-year contract extension (Official)

The few games at full-back seem to have done the job of a loan spell in the Championship. -
Lewis Miley: signs six-year contract extension (Official)

The few games at full-back has been the making of him. From a tidy, functional player, to someone playing with confidence. Think playing full-back has let him see the game from a different perspective and he'll benefit from it when he goes back into midfield. -
They still need to go to City as well.

Injury-time subs are absolutely fine for killing the momentum in a game and absolutely fair to do so. That time should also still be added on. -
That's what makes me think of the 03/04 season so much. High 50s would have got top 4. We finished 5th on around 56 points and having only won 2 away matches all season having been in and around teams like Charlton & Bolton for most of the season. Very similar vibes to this year.

If it costs an extra £5m or so to get our top summer targets early I'd 100% do it. Depends on the selling club though and them having to bring their plans forward too as I've no doubt we'll have already been sounding out targets for 6 months time.
-
Similar to when Tonali started his first season against Villa, Brighton, City & Liverpool, then Longstaff came in for Burnley at home at the start of an easy period. Everyone was saying it was because Longstaff came in when reality is we were just coming into a nice set of fixtures.

5th top scorer in the league the mentalist.
-
Did Villa no harm last season. Was a capable body in the squad as they nearly nicked a CL spot.
-
If there's one available now then brilliant, I can't imagine we'd have planned to sign one this window though before the injury as we have 5 senior CBs on the books, so whatever targets we have in the summer may not be available now. Schar being out probably long term and Burn out a few more weeks, I'd settle with us patching ourselves up until the summer before going for our main targets.
-
Got no names myself but this is where you go the Villa route and go and get a 3rd/4th choice CB on loan until the summer surely? Take the couple of £m hit on the chin, we're a drop of form or injury away from Lascelles playing. Chelsea must have about 6 who'd be capable of that role. Have a look there like Villa last season with Disasi. Chances are he'd only play a handful of games and we should have Burn back in a few weeks too, but we need to cover ourselves.
-
Is Lascelles injured? Wouldn't be against him & Botman on Saturday just to give Thiaw a bit of respite ready for City.
-
Hadn't really been following the Man U next manager race but seeing OGS, Carrick & RvN all linked until the summer seems mental. May as well have stuck with Amorim and made a clean break in the summer.
-
If there was any chance at all he'd be keen, go £30m. He's worth double it without the contract situation and I doubt anyone else would bid that high with 6-months to go. Think he's got bigger fish to fry now though.
-
Yeah. He's there.

Absolutely brilliant viewing. Not going to pick apart anything tonight, just enjoying a great spectacle and another win. Just need to keep trying to push best we can. -
23 goals in all competitions from 44 starts & 48 sub apps. He's dug us out of mires when he's started games, when he's came off the bench to rescue games. He's just cracked on and hasn't made a fuss. Been worth far more than the £35m we spent on him.
-
What a beautiful little man.
-
Sign him as first-choice LW, play Barnes on the right since he's more "open to it", bench Gordon..

We've kept the iPhone charger but now own a Samsung Galaxy & Google Pixel. Would be looking to move on this summer.
