McCormick
The "Big Match" just got bigger, Sam is now under more pressure than ever to get a result.
Guest eyeball_tickler
kenwyne jones aside, they're nothing special/crap. we'll take them apart, allardyce will be back to god-like status, cacapa will have a great game and ameobi will sco.....nah. second away win. we'll win easily. oldtype
Getting wierd, disturbing premonitions of Sunderland 1 (Chopra '70) - 0 Newcastle I really hope I've just gone nuts.
Yorkie
With a bit of luck you'll have just jinxed it. If that's the criteria, then: I can see either a 1-0, 2-0, 3-0, 4-0, 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 3-2, 4-2 or 4-3 victory to Sunderland at the weekend. Grrin. Yorkie
I wonder if Allardyce will go there and be happy with a point? It's whether or not he plays for one that matters, imo. I'd be content with a 0-0 at the rate we're going. Go there and attempt to contain their strikers, by all means... but go there and aim for a point - then Sam's not learning and it's very, very worrying. But i'm fairly sure he'll get it right this time. We'll play well i think.

Mick
We must get something from this game, if we don't then Allardyce will be under massive amounts of pressure. I doubt he's had the sort of pressure that a defeat at the hands of the mackems would bring with it.

Pav
We should win this one with ease. Get Viduka & Martins to start, their defence wont be able to cope.
Kev
If Fat Sam goes there for a point then hes a big fool! im not sure if he knows how much this means to nufc and safc fans he will be hated by many people if we even draw, a win is the only good result against the mackems im really worried now, if we play like today or since bolton away from home, we will get hammered! must be sorted out Harper Beye Rozehnal Taylor Enrique Milner Barton Emre N'Zogbia Viduka Martins go all out attack for 90 minutes
Dr. Nguyen Van Falk
Harper Beye Rozehnal Cacapa Enrique Faye Geremi N'zogbia Emre Owen Martins With Faye actually playing as a DM, too many times have we been cut apart right through our central pairing. Rob
makems are worried that if we hit them down the flanks, their fullbacks are sh8t and wouldnt cope... lucky for them we try to cut in field too much

Sparks
Massive game, our next three games after this are all really tough, Liverpool, Arsenal and Blackburn. We've got to win.
Shak
4-3-3 surely, given how wretched we've been the last two games with a 4-4-2. ------------------- Harper Taylor -- Rozenhal -- Faye -- Enrique ----------------- Geremi ----------- Barton --- Emre Martins ----------------------- N'Zogbia ----------------- Viduka Would be my choice, Smith instead of Viduka if Viduka isn't fit. Could do with the extra man in the middle for what will obviously be a very physical game, while I'm very keen to see Martins and N'Zogbia either side of a front man as they have the pace and direct style neccessary. Robster
That 1-1 prediction is a good shout although (without deliberately going for it), a 0-0 wouldnt be the end of the worl. Although its "only" Sunderland,a clean sheet would be very welcome
