Gullit to take over at LA Galaxy

Recommended Posts

Every time I see Gullit on tele commenting on football I want to smash his smug face right through the back of his head.

What a prick, at least if he is in America he won't be insulting the Geordie nation by commenting on Sky Super Sunday etc.

People always like to forget the fact with Gullit, when he dropped Shearer he done it in some ways for valid reasons, as well as his so called grudge against him. Although he did do it that game to prove a point.

Shearer hadn't scored for months iirc. Added to the fact Gullit was trying to tell Shearer that he didn't have the legs in him anymore and to play a lot more down the middle, but he wouldn't listen, yet listened exactly when SBR told him the same thing.

made Rob Lee train on his own, the wanker. he dropped shearer not for tactcal reasons, but for his ego. this is true because he waited for sunderland vs toon to do it. he may have had a reason to drop shearer and he may have had a point about him becoming bigger than the club, but who was there to replace him? didn't he drop him in favour of kenny dalgleish's son paul, or robinson? his treatment of rob lee was far worse imo.

i do think he will succeed there mind. were we one of his first appointments? he's had a lot of time to reflect on his mistakes out of the game. that said it makes you wounder why he's taken a position where there is one player who is so obviously bigger than the club, and much more than shearer was.
