Wullie
Shit, McCarthy and Santa Cruz. We'll concede. Who's down the left for them though? Gamst surely?
Yorkie
Blackburn: Friedel, Emerton, Warnock, Ooijer, Samba, Tugay, Mokoena, Dunn, Bentley, McCarthy, Santa Cruz Not in the side, Wullie.

Guest Novocastrian
It's bad enough having Zog at LB but when Fat Sam plays Zog and Milner on the same side I just can't understand his thoughts. For me Zog should be wide left and Milner wide right until we can bring additional players in/get Duff back to fitness.

Chris_R
Just for once I'd like to see us line up 4-4-2 with N'Zogbia on the left wing and Milner on the right wing. Just once. Still, we'll see how it goes today. Fingers crossed.
Minhosa
They look quite strong in midfield compared to us. Makes me nervous and I backed us for a point earlier today.

Keefaz
Not sure about Geremi. Can't really see how he's any better than Parker.

Hopefully Barton will have been given a license to get the ball and come forward with it.

KaKa
Not sure about Geremi. Can't really see how he's any better than Parker. Watched Parker today and he still stinks. Still twirling around in circles with the ball and chasing his tail, still losing the ball while he does this and still doesn't have the confidence to pass the ball forward. Wouldve thought theyd make a pretty strong central midfield, one that would be void of creativity or any attacking instinct, but still, both players are pretty good defensively and despite not being tall, arent pushovers. Could play Faye there, but hes pretty much our only consistently decent centreback.
KaKa
Butt, Geremi and Barton is our best balance in midfield. at the moment none of our central midfielders are good enough as a pair and I think the best option is to have three in there. I think we'll be really good today wehter we'llw in or not is another matter though.

Hopefully Barton will have been given a license to get the ball and come forward with it. Yeah really. I think the Blackburn midfield, especially Mokoena (who could do another Diop on us) and Dunn who on his day can create all sorts might be a bit much for us. Bentley should have the edge over the Zog at LB too. Fingers crossed that I'm wrong. I bloody hope so but they are a dangerous side (a bit of an Allardyce side actually - hard to beat, athletic and effective up front. Well, what an Allardyce side should be like). Fuck it, I'll stick with my 1-1 prediction but I am nervous. Wish I was there.
