Manager Shaun Gale, who will be waiting for ball 54, said: "It has to be one of the big boys away. That's money that helps you for the next few years."

Premier League sides join the competition for the 32 third round ties, played on 5 and 6 January.

fair point.  My mackem mates went to Barnsley last year and they got an entire stand behind a goal and part of a stand running parallel to the pitch - they said it was just like a home game.  That would be fantastic.

And televise the fucker too, just so we can be heard by millions

Guest optimistic nit

We'll face Chelsea at some point, might as well get them out the way now.

i prefer letting others get rid of the big boys tbh. lets face it, if we knock out chelsea we'll still have manure liverpool and arsenal in the draw, so hopefully they'll knock each other out (or citeh, villa or pompey manage it) and we'll be faced with only one of the bastards in the last 4. H&W at home for me, although we've been known to struggle in the past against shite small teams with nowt to lose.

actually changed my mind horsham away would be grand.
