Guest optimistic nit
he actually looked a bit dodgy during the first few games. looks brilliant now lyke. really would like to see beye cacapa feye enrique given 15 games together with given in goal. could be a fucking beast if we take the best bits we've seen from each. AlanSkÃrare
He's been our best defender in the last three games. Good signing and should be the first choice RB.
Cajun
Still settling but a lot better than anything we have seen for a long time at right back (Solano did well but still didn't look 100% in the position).

ElDiablo
Brilliant performance considering he didn't have a right midfield to protect him or pass to. Also think he has something to offer in the final third too but doesn't get to get forward that much due to the formation.
James
He needed oxygen after his first match. The club has clearly put a lot of effort in getting his fitness levels up, and it is reaping the rewards, as he was a quality player before he joined us. Imagine if he had joined under Souness, Roeder or even Shearer. He'd be on the scrap heap now - another highly rated player who has come here to flop for the money. This is why Allardyce is a level above those we've had or could have, and why we should give him the time he deserves.

I disagree tbh the only thing Capaca has on Taylor is experience but not in the pl!Taylors very rarely let us down and is the future of the club!Anyways out of the 3 of them at least 1 will be injured most of the time! :-[

Cajun
I have a lot of hope for Taylor but rarely let us down? He even made two pretty silly mistakes tonight but got way with them.

nufcjmc
10 year head start tbf I can Taylor either becomming really good or just another one of our average plodders I guess its how he is played and how many injuries he gets on the way.

Yeah thats true and a good point but a huge difference between the french league and the pl!Thought Taylor was outstanding tonight!I love the way he plays with such passion and hes good for an odd goal as well! Skirge
He will be even better once he has more faith in the rest of the back four, then he can stop drifting in to the middle as much..
Willow
I thought Beye was excellent tonight, saved our bacon on a few occasions and was harsh to get a booking. Fast player who can time his tackles well
tmonkey
He had a good match, but lets not get carried away here. Rosicky wasnt exactly a left winger who was going to cause Beye many problems, considering hes not a left winger at all. Beye quite clearly has some excellent defensive abilities, but I still think that he needs some sorting out with regards to his positioning. Gets sucked into central areas an awful lot and at times gives the man hes meant to be marking either alot of space, or a bit of a head start. Which is why he was torn apart by Petrov. Overall though, if he can iron out these problems, and theres absolutely no reason why he cant especially after a season in the Premiership, he should make a pretty good right back, but I wouldnt sing his praises until hes made these improvements. Razor
Great game by him tonight. His pace saved us in the last few mins when Arsenal were countering, if he hadn't of caught up to the Arsenal player they would have had a good chance of scoring. Beye hasnt done badly since he arrived tbh Clearly a lot better than we have had in along time. Taylor did alright tonight, as did everyone else. No grumbles about anyone except the usual stuff held us back. Lots of effort and physical presence kept us in it. Not a lot of creativity though. We took pressure off the back four with the former. We are stil unable to do it with the latter. Not fussed with who plays at centre back but we really need to take the pressure off them with a little more pace and guile going forward.
