This is a one we should win but I am not 100% convinced that Sam is starting to turn things around. Seems he will stick with 4-3-3 I just think he could pick a better line up for that formation.

Ill stick to 4-4-2 with Martins and Smith up front.Derby are poor away so I think we should have no problem getting all the 3 points.

4-4-2 with Viduka and Martins drop Geremi for Smith is how I would play it, also have Faye in for Roze if he's back.

I will go with Sam on not starting Enrique, he must be finding it tough, means playing Emre on the wing though unless Sam thinks Duff is ready..

I forgot was'nt Owen aiming to be back for this game too ?

If we go at them with any sort of serious intent we should win comfortably like everyone else does. That means hitting them hard and fast for 90 minutes not worrying ourselves shitless at what they might do.

Had word that there will be about 250 Derby fans turning up.  We should 'morder' them.  Just stick to our game plans of the past two home games and we'll win.  No need to change anything.  I'd take 1 or 2 nil tbh.  No need to change things to try and win by more.  A win is a win.

You would have Rozehnal in the team ahead of Cacapa HTL?

Aye. I would. The toss-up would be Cacapa or Taylor. I'd pick Rozenhal every game. He'll have some dodgy moments as he adjusts to the league, but he looks a good player to me and I have patience with players like him.

It'd be interesting to know if Allardyce is using the centre-backs as pairs in training, to get them used to working in a system. As it is, it looks like we just throw two in together and subsequently they struggle to work well as a pair IMO. I understand injuries have taken their toll on this, like.

Sam will play:

                        Given

Beye  Rozehnal      Cacapa      Zoggy

                        Butt

          Geremi            Barton

  Martins          Smith          Milner

I would play this for 442:

                        Given

Beye      Rozehnal    Cacapa    Enrique

                              Geremi

              Barton

Milner                                      N'Zogbia

                            Viduka

              Martins

or 433

                        Given

Beye      Cacapa      Rozehnal    Enrique

                      Geremi

                                      Emre

            Barton

    Milner          Smith        N'Zogbia

Either way we will win because derby are piss poor.
