Guest ObaStar
There are alot of academies in Africa. There are 3 kids from Ghana at my school who are wicked good. They all trained at the same academy in Ghana as Asamoah Gyan
Guest elbee909
people should look at exactly where these superb "african" players have really learned their trade. What difference does that make? Shearer 'learnt his trade' at Southampton and Blackburn. So he's not a Geordie striker then, eh? What a pile of wank. I don't understand where you are going with this? You think when they got to "where they learnt their trade" they had never seen a ball before? Get real. Dr Spectrum
http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/jan23j.html Bianchi signs for Lazio Wednesday 23 January, 2008 Manchester City striker Rolando Bianchi has signed for Lazio after a series of meetings in Rome this afternoon. The 24-year-old had looked set to pen a deal with Torino, but Lazio President Claudio Lotito appears to have made a better offer. The Biancocelesti are believed to have agreed a permanent transfer and will pay a fee of around £10m in three annual instalments. The details of the agreement are yet to be announced, but it is suspected that Bianchi will undergo a medical today and be unveiled at some stage tomorrow afternoon. Having signed for Manchester City from Reggina for £8.8m last summer, Bianchi never settled in the Premier League and leaves after 15 appearances – mostly as a substitute – and four goals. The former Atalanta youth product will now hope to revitalise his career in the Eternal City and restart his push for a space in Roberto Donadoni's Euro 2008 squad. Sorry to see him go....not only because we have fuck all else up front but I always thought he was a good player (even when he never got picked). Still. Made a profit so not a disaster (Altho its a risk not getting cash in hand from that lot Must have a replacement lined up. Must have. Its in Marca that Luis Fabiano's agent has told Sevilla we're going after his release clause or something like that, for about £7m, but I dont know how true that is given the million and one other strikers we've "bought" this month. Flip
Luis Fabiano for 7 million? No way, hes worth 15 at least, class player and he learned to chill out after the girl fight with Diogo. Great goalscorer, probably Brazils best striker after Pato at the moment.

Fabriano is a decent player but I'm not so sure he'd adapt in England.

Yeah, not because of his 2 Serie A games, but because right now we have Vagner Love and Afonso as our two main strikers, says alot to be honest, and Pato has been a consistent performer for the u-20 team and Internacional. Hes in the team for the match against Ireland in Dublin going to be great

Great goalscorer, probably Brazils best striker after Pato at the moment. http://www.marca.com/edicion/marca/futbol/1a_division/sevilla/es/desarrollo/1081161.html As announced by Augustine Castellote on the program 'Record' of Radio Marca, Manchester City are interested in the acquisition of the sevillista Luis Fabiano. The Brazilian shares the 'pichichi' with Diego Milito and the Premier League has positioned its eyes on him. The agent of the footballer, José Fuentes, has already communicated the interest of the English club to Seville. The clause of the player is 60 million euro, although apparently Seville would be obliged to sell the Brazilian if an offer of 11 million (euro / AKA £7m) or over arrives. Seville only has 35% of the player, since the other 65% belongs to the agency GSI, that wants 'to remove its slice' before finishing its contract. Luis Fabiano is happy in Seville and his desire is to remain, but wants to earn more and that his contribution be recognized. Manchester City wants him already, Seville will have that to react if wants to retain the Brazilian. Possibility we're being used to get the guy a new contract. But he seems a good player for that price.
