Syrette
I'd have liked him to say something more about his hiatus as it were from the game. Just confirmation he's fairly up to date with today's game and today's players. Come on, I want someone to make me feel better about the above point... have a pint all will be fixed I like your way of thinking.

WhatTheFunk
Mort on Redknapp: Wanted to go thru the process bit by bit...as the corporate people we are. Harry was on the shortlist. Met Arry on friday afternoon for the first time. Got the impression he was settled on the south coast. Won't mention the others on the shortlist so as not to embarrass them. Regarding the offer, talked about terms etc...with 'Arry (including finances). Didn't think he was right for the club in the end.
Nobby
Pegasus Bridge, you get my vote for the best Avatar on this board. If only we could get Keegan back we might be able to attract Berbatov to the Toon for real. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article365647.ece

DubblyDubblyDubbly
I'm a teacher and i have to admit i'm in lessons while watching the stream online. Nicked the headphones off a student. lol. A blonde gets a job as a teacher. She notices a boy on the field stood by himself while all the other kids are running around having fun. She takes pity on him and decides to speak to him. "You ok" she says. "Yes" he replies. "You can play with the other kids ya know" "It's best I stay here" he says "Why" asks the blonde" "Because I'm the fu**ing goalie"

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
the next step.... get rid of the doomed northern rock as the sponsor. Bring Brown Ale back. Scrap the current design of the shirt for next season - Bring back the grandad collar top. Ashley has to do it. I'd love it, and he'd make a hell of a lot! Chris_R
Popped round my parent's house for lunch. My father and I just sat in silence watcing the conference, not one word spoken by either of us. Absolutely delighted with everything Keegan said. I'm really optimistic for the future now, I can see that the game on Saturday will be a fantastic event and no matter what the score, I'm sure I'll come home having lost my voice through singing and urging the team on. And that's not something I can say has happened too many times since Keegan was last here.
