Playing alongside Mbiwa, Debuchy, Cabaye, Sissoko, Ben Arfa & potentially Remy in World Cup year when Deschamps and his people will be watching us on a regular basis... Pretty sure I've never watched him live but he is, I assume, miles better than Shola and it was an area that needs strengthening that has been addressed. Plus it gives us options which is a rare luxury in recent times. He just comes across a bit of a bellend is all but then again he isn't in a minority with that unfortunately. Just wish we would explore markets other than French/Ligue Un players with contract disputes preferably with a skew towards local/English players. Offer me 8th-10th place this season when we came up and I'd snap your hand off. We all know we're just waiting for the current crop of fat c***s to f*** off. Players will leave, we (Ashley) will make some money, we'll buy some more. What ever speeds up this c***'s exit is my main priority at present. We're going no where until he does. Know what you mean but they're not exactly hidden from the scouts of the world in the premier league, and I want our team to do well internationally as well as that means they're getting games for their country while playing for us, and they'll be in good morale when they come back.
