Taylor Swift
Hahahaha amazing! I think they're done. Gonna have to go to the Bridge needing to score, and although Chelsea aren't the quintessential counter-attacking team, they should be able to nick one and make it safe. Good times all around. Tbf, I thought the atmosphere today was quite good. The Liverpool fans were loud throughout the entire game, sang till the end and I would have been proud if that was St. James'. junkhead
http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=218247.1160 Can't believe we haven't won this by more than one goal. there are some seriously fucked up people there.. like this poor fella That's a hard day, we definitely should win at least 2:0, but.... from our display today I'm sure we will progress, that lucky bustards from Chelsea have got their luck today from poor Riise, though I can't believe how he ever could do that, not every striker would be able to make such a fucking great dive. We must keep optimisim, despite refferees and all the other factors saying that Abramovich wants to see his Chelsea in Moscow. We will win despite all that. We played better, our manager is better, we are as supportes are better. LIVERPOOL FC - YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE. WE'LL FINISH THEIR UNBEATEN RUN AT STAMFORD BRIDGE. AT APRIL, 30. NO MATTER HOW. I'M SURE IN THE TEAM!
Taylor Swift
Makelele and Lampard were especially shit tonight but the commentary was beyond a joke. Lamps was 80% to blame for the first goal yet they choose to focus on Makelele's attempted clearance. Lampard fluffs a chance then they tell us that "certain chelsea players are not on their game". Not once did they want to single out Fat Frank. I agree with this. But, Lampard did improve in the second half whilst Makelele kept giving the ball away. The substitution for Ballack also didn't make that much sense (to me anyway) but once again, Avram Grant seems to have the magic touch. Not that I'm complaining

1878
1-1 in the return leg and Liverpool to win the shoot out. A dose of realism. Still, I'm enjoying tonight's result while it lasts. Riise MOTM

Guest LucaAltieri
Much the same as this game, I couldn't care less who wins the next leg. All I care about is the winner of this tie getting well and truly battered in the final.
Guest Sam
Want Liverpool to go through, but only so that they'll get fucked in the final by Man U. That would be a bigger gutter than going out in the semis, losing to your big rivals just as they're gearing up to sing "we won it six times". Preferably losing due to a last minute Gerrard goal or something.
Robster
In the 2nd half, I was pleased that Chelsea at least started to ry to play a bit of football with some nice passing. I couldnt believe how Route 1 Liverpool were. was very disappointing from a team hoping to be European Champions. Makalele was poor tonight i felt... some very bad and mis-placed passes

Guest interceptor
Ah well, we should be able to get Riise on the cheap now, as LFC will be desperate to get rid of him if he costs them the CL

Basically in a knockout format a solid defence tends to favour cagey teams, like Greece in the Euros, but in a league format they won't beat the shit teams regularly enough, hence their failure to win the Premier for so long, despite their investment.
