Disco
Hull have bought well you're right, but they're still going to do fuck all unless they buy at least 2 Premiership quality strikers, good luck to em though.
Guest optimistic nit
i didn´t think fulham could do any worse than they did last year, but they´ve got off to an impressive start. that temourian guy could be ok though.
ATB
Hull have been really impressive in the summer. for example. what the hell are Stoke doing? Hull needs more player to stay up. but I think they will have a chance. Stoke is going to be the new Derby and WBA will get problems too.

Wullie
If Spurs lose Berbs and Keane they are much weaker than last season. Forget about the individuals they can bring in - that partnership was gold for them I agree with that.
1878
Just some of my random thoughts on other clubs summer transfers. - Hull City have done brilliantly so far. Brought in 6 players, 5 of whom have premiership experience (admittedly to varying degress of success). Look to be hot on the trail of King and Meite. Really impressed with them as despite me having a soft spot for them I thought they would certainly go down, now I think they are giving themsleves a chance to stay up. - Spurs look set to ruin a potentially very good summer. Modric and Gomes especially should do well for them but any progress they make will be instantly ruined if they sell Berbatov and Keane. Also rumours say Chimbonda and Malbranque could be on their way out and in my opinion they are both important players for Spurs especialy if they want to compete in 4 competitions. - What a load of rubbish Fulham are signing. Can't believe they paid £6.3m for Zamora (who scored 1 goal last season) and Pantsil (who started 7 games in 2 years). Yep. Hull have bought way better than I thought they would. I thought only WBA had a chance of staying up but maybe Hull are a better bet now seeing the decent players they've signed and are strongly linked with while at the same time WBA have lost Gera & Phillips. What happened to the Roy Makaay to Hull rumour? He would be class for them for 12months, hanging round the penalty box and banging them in off his shin and his arse. Could be the difference between going down or not.
Yorkie
- What a load of rubbish Fulham are signing. Can't believe they paid £6.3m for Zamora (who scored 1 goal last season) and Pantsil (who started 7 games in 2 years). Again. It's an absolute farce what's happened to them really, desperately hope they go down this season. Coleman was such a fantastic boss for them considering - i mean, he had virtually no funds to spend. Then they git rid of him as soon as they get a cash injection. They spent like £15m+ last summer and are spending lots again this summer. On utter shit. Coleman was hard done by. Shit club, no fans, loopy chairman. Just one of them random clubs that i don't like.

Guest johnson293
Scott Carson has joined West Brom for £3.25m. Thought Liverpool told Aston Villa he'd cost them about £10m or summit??!
Martin Lol
All the talk is that Keane joins Liverpool this weekend for £18m. Bent going nowhere. Pavlychenko and/or Milito most likely to be incoming. Not a solid DM in sight.......sigh.
Dr. Nguyen Van Falk
So that means Keane will be staying, Bent will be going, Pavlychenko/Milito will sign new deals and Gattuso will sign for Spurs.
Gallowgate End
Daniel Levy RE; Berbatov and Keane "When a player's head is turned and their commitment is absent, particularly when they occupy key positions such as that of striker, they become a negative influence in a team dressing room in which they were once a positive addition and influence. This is the situation we now have on our hands, with both Dimitar and Robbie having made it clear that they wish to leave for Manchester Utd and Liverpool respectively. But if they get Milito for say £10 and another striker, i think they'll do alright. Realistically tho i couldn't give a flying fuck cos its Spuds! Disco
Maybe they'll give Bent a run. Got a lot to prove still 'daaaan the lane' and a proven Prem goalscorer or they're going to play 4-5-1/4-3-3 since they do have 175 midfielders currently.

Fatwax
I hope King fails wherever he goes. Selfish prick. I used to work with the dad of one of your youth goalkeepers, Darren Loach I think, & he was telling me that King took a swing at Boothroyd at one point.. either that or something similar. He didn't play for a long time and they said it was an injury. Sound fella, he was. Edit.. not King, obvious. He's a cunt etc.

Scott Loach, you might be thinking of? Some reckon he might break into the first team after a good spell at Bradford, a few Premiership clubs (including you) rumoured to have been interested over the last few months. I despise King for leaving us in the lurch in the way he did, just for money, he wanted 40k a week (just been given 25k!) and was told when we get promoted, so he engineers a move and fucks off. Now it hasn't worked out for him, so he ironically ends up at a club (most probably) that wouldn't have been promoted if we hadn't lost the momentum and a goalscorer as we did in him. Selfish prick, hope he fails miserably.

He told me about the fight thing about last September I think it was but I have no idea on when it was meant to have happened or how much truth there is in it - but like I said, he was a sound fella and I had no reason to believe him. Not a massive fan of King myself, never really heard anything to make me consider changing my mind etc..

Newcastle Fan
I'm starting to think that cunt Blatter may have had a point about the amount of spending in the EPL! For 5.5 you can get a 20+ goals per season striker in any other league
