Parky
Is Barry really better than Alonso? is he fuck if arsenal sign alonso for a decent fee they'll be the winners in this whole gig - alonso sitting deep spraying passes about for arsenals pace-merchants to get on the end of...frightening prospect That's what I'm thinking. Why would they get rid of Alonso for Barry? Because Rafa thinks he'll form a better partnership with Gerrard would be my guess. Wenger has started casting loving eyes at Alonso. Apparently the money they've spent has been borrowed from the banks and Shiniwatra could be getting locked up like his missus. The Ronaldinho bid was all through sponsorships. Thaksin has hardly spent f*** all and Jo, his only big signing, is costing them buttons in the short term, paid on the drip over several years. Richards has played midfield before- they need a defensive midfielder and don't have the money to buy anyone good. Edit- and why would Ben Haim leave Chelsea's bench for City's? He'll be going there to play every week.

thewellander
Fulham's bid for Andrew Johnson looks like it might fall through. He's not great, but he might be good cover here for when Owen and Viduka are injured.

GG
On paper their team looks good mind. Arguably could compete with you, Blackburn, Villa, etc. even if they're not brilliant, if Keane can keep them injury free and consistent they could do well. They still need a defence mind. Decky
Is Keane making outrageous bids straight away rather than going small and working his way up, because surely Manure would take alot less that 8.5 mill?
