Incredible that anyone is hung up on Taylor getting 35k a week when Milner (equally mediocre) and Zoggy (traitor) are getting more.

i find that very hard to believe!

why is milner asking for a new contract then?

This isn't like with Barton, Duff, Smith, Viduka, and Geremi. Taylor could easily be sold on, we aren't lumbered with him, so i don't see why so many people are complaining.

Well lets hope he spends the extra cash on some better acting lessons when he handles the ball on the line again.

hahaha, and learn how to tug a players shirt without even Stevie Wonder being able to spot it.

It's telling that the best argument anyone can come up with for Taylor getting £35k is that other players are getting more.  The fact we are paying more for shit is a total irrelevance.

Either Taylor is worth the money or not.

You'd be grinning like that as well with that money.

Your mother would be smiling as well as she'd get her back bedroom back when you move out. :celb:

Good news. He deserves an improved contract.

On performances over the past couple of seasons most certainly not, he did play well as did all of the back four at the end of the season when we looked better going forward though, which inevitably took pressure away from the defence.

Good, needed to be sorted out. £35k is a decent wage for him, and we won't get mugged in the transfer market now hes on a longer term contract.
