wormy
I think we should give him a start tbh. Not ideal, but we clearly havn't got much better options. Let's see how he does.
Ronaldo
Giving him 15 minutes when we're trying to kill the game won't do much for his striking instincts. I still want to see him out on loan, but it won't happen, not with the abysmal alternatives. I just hope that now Best's back we've truly seen the end of Lovenkrands. I don't know what you're expecting from Best, to be honest. Shocking player, no better than Lovenkrands. I'm not expecting much at all. Lots of running, a bit of muscle. the odd header, pass, strike, perhaps even a goal. An improvement, basically.
Pilko
I'd fancy Best to score more than I would Lovenkrands. I'd also back him to do more in terms of general play.
Guest BooBoo
I'd fancy Best to score more than I would Lovenkrands. I'd also back him to do more in terms of general play. Agreed.
Pilko
I think I'm basing that off several useful pre-season displays that even saw a few goals.
Ronaldo
Best is far, far better equipped to assert himself in games where we're struggling for possession.

Geordie Ahmed
The potential is very much there BUT he is still very raw - really needs regular games to up his game, similar to Carroll 18 months ago It is a bit difficult at the moment BUT a short loan stint would do him the world of good

Dokko
Bloody hell, I might get myself down to the training ground now. I fancy a 5 and a half year deal... Dishing them out LR&C. Lets hope hughton sees him as a player who could develop in to Carroll's long term partner meaning give him some fuking games upfront instead of Shurla. AyeDubbleYoo
Good sign that we're getting the better players tied down. Will breath more easily when we've got Enrique confirmed on a 27 year deal.
