S.S.R.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17588745 Of the 6 'pundits' (Hansen, Lolro, Dixon, Shearer, Savage and Nevin) asked, only one of them even mentions us in the race for 4th While I don't think we have much of a chance of finishing in the top four, if the roles were reversed, they'd all be bigging up the team in 6th. 54
Merson Live Ford Football Special: Swansea v Newcastle 4pm, Good Friday, Sky Sports 1 HD Both of these teams have been brilliant this season. Newcastle surprise me every week; I thought the wheels would come off by now but they haven't and to still be challenging for a Champions League spot is fantastic. Alan Pardew has done a fantastic job and so have his scouts; other clubs with greater finances must be looking at the likes of Yohan Cabaye and Papiss Cisse and kicking themselves that they didn't buy them. During the first half against West Brom a few weeks ago, Newcastle's front three of Demba Ba, Cisse and Hatem Ben Arfa were outstanding; it was like watching the Arsenal of old. They carried on that good form against Liverpool on Sunday and I think they can nick a point in this game in what should be a very open match against a very good side. PAUL PREDICTS: 2-
Dr Venkman
Newcastle have been amazing, they're in great form, they looked like Arsenal at their peak a few weeks ago. They'll nick a point at Swansea.
Cajun
Tbf he is probably right, a point there isn't a bad result. They are pretty good at home apparently, if not overrated by some.
