Wolfcastle Posted Wednesday at 18:52 Share Posted Wednesday at 18:52 Honestly thought West Ham had been up to something interesting when I seen this. Presumed the Baronesss had been petitioning for more anti-NUFC rules in the Lords or something. Didn't realise it was the other anti-NUFC c*nts thread

Bimpy474 Posted Thursday at 14:09 Share Posted Thursday at 14:09 Even if these get through it'll be just as tough. In one off games Tottenham can be very good. It's about us, if play like we can, we can beat Liverpool or Tottenham.

Agree with that, but from a purely technical point, with us playing the Monday night before and Liverpool playing either the Tuesday or Wednesday in the Champions League, I'd much rather face a Spurs team who will have played on the Thursday night, about 40 hours before the final. The way their season is going they will probably have to go reasonably full strength in both games.
Yorkie Posted Thursday at 15:07 Share Posted Thursday at 15:07 I don't think it matters. We'll beat either of them. If Klopp was still there then I'd want it to be them, but Newcastle vs Tottenham is a far more interesting final. We also might end up wearing the away kit which would be an amazing thing to see us lift a trophy in.

I'll be shitting myself if its Spurs. We'd probs be slight favourites but I could see them really turning up on the day and Maddison have one of his perfomances he has 2 or 3 times a season where he looks like a world beater. Be fucking sickening losing to them Against Liverpool I'd be much more relaxed. We'd be clear underdogs....but I think we'd still have a very reasonable chance if Isak, Gordon, Bruno, Tonali etc are on it
kingxlnc Posted Thursday at 15:45 Share Posted Thursday at 15:45 Liverpool played their kids in the final last year, was that because of injuries or is that how they’re treating this tournament? I wouldn’t want to face spurs because “Ange always wins something in second year…”

I wouldn’t want to face spurs because “Ange always wins something in second year…” It was down to injuries mostly and Diaz, Konate, Gakpo, VVD, Mac Allister, Robertson Elliot and Gravenberch all started the game. It was weakened but hardly weak.

Elric Posted Thursday at 18:53 Share Posted Thursday at 18:53 (edited) Really tough one. Liverpool are a fucking machine but I'd love to fuck them over, the cunts. But... imagine being the club to hand 'Big Ange' his first fucking silverware, mate. Fuck. That. Edit: assuming we lost, I mean. Which we won't Edited Thursday at 18:57 by Elric

KennyUtd Posted Thursday at 19:27 Share Posted Thursday at 19:27 Liverpool will definitely have much bigger fish to fry. They'll be all in for the title and Champions League. Something to think about. Although doing Spurs in a final? I'd die happy.
