Even if these get through it'll be just as tough.  In one off games Tottenham can be very good.

Agree with that, but from a purely technical point, with us playing the Monday night before and Liverpool playing either the Tuesday or Wednesday in the Champions League, I'd much rather face a Spurs team who will have played on the Thursday night, about 40 hours before the final. The way their season is going they will probably have to go reasonably full strength in both games.

I don't think it matters. We'll beat either of them. If Klopp was still there then I'd want it to be them, but Newcastle vs Tottenham is a far more interesting final. We also might end up wearing the away kit which would be an amazing thing to see us lift a trophy in.

I'll be shitting myself if its Spurs. We'd probs be slight favourites but I could see them really turning up on the day and Maddison have one of his perfomances he has 2 or 3 times a season where he looks like a world beater.  Be fucking sickening losing to them

 

Against Liverpool I'd be much more relaxed.  We'd be clear underdogs....but I think we'd still have a very reasonable chance if Isak, Gordon, Bruno, Tonali etc are on it

It was down to injuries mostly and Diaz, Konate, Gakpo, VVD, Mac Allister, Robertson Elliot and Gravenberch all started the game. It was weakened but hardly weak.
