I dont think he has much pace but he's a fantastically strong runner if that makes sense. More of a 400m man than a 100m man.

Typical long leg strider. Takes a while to get going, doesn't 'move' quickly, but eats a lot of ground.

That run in the first half where he was tackled on the edge of the box was unreal. Players as tall as carroll aren't meant to do that, it defys the laws of physics or something. Like most of yous i was willing him to get a goal yesterday, he was outstanding.

I've said it before but he's twice as good as Bent in terms of technique and allround play with his feet. The remarks about hs style of play from the mackems are not only innacurate but also hypocritical.

Positional vigilance. He drifts to the left wing too often for me. Sometimes is fine, but I think he does it too much. Obvious ones are consistency, passing and finishing.

There's not many i'd swap him for.  With a decent quick striker with a predatory instinct long term I think he'll be dynamite

First touch is something he needs to work on, but it might never be perfect.

He has blown hot and cold this season so far, more hot than cold mind, but we must remember he's only a young lad learning his trade in one of the best leagues in the world.
