jdckelly
Radio Newcastle's phone in is speculating that he's going to not be included in the U21 squad, because he's going to be called up to the full squad no rooney defoe or zamora, its possible
Guest palnese
Not picked for the U21s. When is the senior squad announced?

Would love to see him at the International stage, although it may be a bit early for him. Time will tell.

Dave
It'll be great for him to experience time with all the other utter cunts who will no doubt tell him to leave NUFC.
Guest BooBoo
It'll be a little rib tickler if he gets on as a sub ahead of Darren Bent. Wearside will literally implode in rage.
The Merse
Time will tell. He isn't a top striker yet but I've been very impressed with him since around February, and he hasn't looked out of his depth in the big league whatsover. Needs legs and intelligence around him to be fully effective in our new system. Is totally correct - never going to shine with Nolan as an alleged strike partner - wrong personnel - I would even prefer shola along side rather than Nolan

Guest
Has he not been carrying a knock? Maybe Hughton's asked Pearce to give him a rest this week.
Elliottman
Has he not been carrying a knock? La Parka
Sweet. Everyone here is right btw, he needs a pacey strike partner to open up space for him. (a bellamy)

Ketsbaia
He'll definitely be in the senior squad then. Don't think he's good enough quite yet, but then again Heskey and Zamora have got in lately so there really aren't any standards. Good luck to him. ponsaelius
He's no worse than the likes of Heskey, Zamora and Cole.
indi
Nowhere near being an international-class striker at the moment. I can't believe that he's going to be in the squad. Good luck to him, but I'm not even sure he's the best forward at the club, let alone good enough to be playing for England.
Guest ObiChrisKenobi
Amazing what being tall and strong can do for your career. What happened with the Court Case? Thought that was due to be heard end of September?
Foluwashola
Aye, he definitely deserves a chance like. Heskey got 10 years of chances.
ponsaelius
He's no worse than the likes of Heskey, Zamora and Cole. Just checked and his goals to starts ratio in the Premier League is better than that of these 3. I know it doesn't mean that much, but still.

He may not be international-class, but I can't see many infront of him for England - if the likes of Heskey and Cole can make the squad, then why not he?
