So thats it then, lets settle for years of Mid- table mediocrity,

those calling for a new manager can forget it, hes done this cos he thinks joe can preserve prem status,..

untill the credit crunch ends, and he puts back on market,.. he a fat cnut.

What we have plus sound investment in the next couple of windows will see us in the top half for years to come!

Good News to hopefully end some of the uncertainty.

Lets hope there was some truth in the first paragraph of that recent article in the Journal...

FORMER Newcastle chairman Chris Mort is prepared to return to St James’s Park to help rebuild Mike Ashley’s shattered regime if the club’s owner is willing to take the club off the market.

Get Mort back in, invest some money in January, try and finish in a respectable league position, then go all out to get a better manager than Kinnear in the Summer, when his contract expires.

Who knows, with a decent showing of intent, Owen might even sign that new deal!!!!

Well i'm delighted with the news that we're likely to be fed bullshit and have the piss taken out of us for the forseeable future.

only untill the world economy picks up, then this whole pantomime will start all over again,....oh yes it will

got confused by that poll.  There only seems to be a 'yes' and 'no' option.  Are we not going to do this in some sort of form that requires stages.  This should just be poll for gut reaction, with thoughtful opinion to follow.

Where's James?

Can see todays looming defeat sparking a meltdown tbh

Your always worried about meltdown or" kneejerktastic". HERE IS THE DEAL: IF WE AS NEWCASTLE FANS DID LETS WAIT & SEE/GREY ANSWERS WE WOULD BE LIKE ALL THE OTHER FAGGOT FANS OF OTHER CLUBS, IT IS EITHER BLACK OR WHITE, FOR OR AGAINST, GOOD OR BAD, HEAVEN OR HELL & AS YOU HAVE FOUND OUT PEOPLE EITHER LIKE YOU OR FUCKING HATE YOU WITH A PASSION, THATS HOW IT IS AROUND HERE & NEWCASTLE/TYNESIDE/NORTHUMBERLAND/DURHAM.

The club is only not for sale in so far as no one has the money to buy it at the moment.

I'm happy that Mike Ashley has removed the limbo status of the club but I'm sure he'll happily sell if a multi-billionaire comes along after the credit crunch ends.

Hopefully Ashley will now spend money on new players.
