There is more intelligence, passion and will being put out over that stream than there is by many on this fucking forum. I'm enjoying the discussions me and grateful fans are doing something about the state of the club, if only at this stage talking and having their say. Good on them and good luck to them. These are proper fans who care deeply about the club, unlike some of the twats on here.

What are they actually doing to the club? Wheres the long term plan in all this? Supposing they get there way and Ashley leaves - then what? I havent heard them mention once what happens after that.

If Ashley just "leaves" and takes his £100m loan back and refuses to underwrite the clubs debts for the next accounting period then the answer is easy, the company that is NUFC is technically insolvent (unable to pay its debts when they fall due) and would with need to bring in administrators.

I don't think you understand company law. He can't "leave" after creating his own debt structure.

 How's he getting his £100m back too?  "Yeah, that £100m?  I'd like that back now thanks.  I'm not enjoying this any more."

Can anyone prove that he's taken a single £ out of the club yet and lined his own pockets with it?

He'll get every penny back and more when he sells, unless we do something.

If we continue to turn up regardless, he can hold out for the price he wants, we stop going, he'll be forced to accept less.

We're the muppets "subsidising" the club, we dont get out money back.

"That money goes into Ashley's pocket" on about season tickets..  Jesus wept they've got a qualified accountant there, has he not seen the accounts or what?..  :nope:

He's put over £100m in, chances are he won't be getting any return out for fucking years.

All reducing the revenue streams will do is reduce the funds available for players & reduce chances of him finding a buyer.

They really are a bunch of deluded, self-important thick fuckers.

If people have a problem with the third line, try answering the first two?

He will when the club is sold, since it's a loan rather than out of his own pocket.

He'll get all of the money when the club is sold, regardless of the capital structure.  It belongs (100%) to him.

So how has he put 100m in?

He's put £100m of his own money into his own company via a directors loan.

He could have issued further share capital, I've previously explained on here the reasons for that not being the best way to do it, I can dig out the link if you want it (that's a genuine offer, not me being flippant).

Regardless of which way he has done it though, 100% of the sale proceeds will be going to him, the fact that it's structured as a loan is pretty much irrelevant tbh.

The 100m is totally his fault cause he didn't look properly at what he was getting into. Stop using phrases like "he's put in"...He hasn't it was part of a technical requirement of the takeover. He'd put nowt in if he could as you well know.

Are you saying he hasn't put in £100m?

It's there on the balance sheet like. :dontknow:

unless the t shirts are yellow, they will make no diffrence, ..the bright sparks will probably make them , Black and white,... thatl really stand out in sjp.

Should make them red and white to get everyone's attention.

if people wore yellow, like showing ashley a yellow card, would stand out, people could wear, old away tops, brazil tops etc.

No he's tagged the 100m on the sale price hence no buyers. Pipe down a bit.

As opposed to writing it off?

Well, the club is worth less in its current situation than it was just a couple of years ago. Of course he should write it off.

It's a good point. They will obviously be white, they always are.

He put £100m extra in because he failed to do his due diligence.  His fault.  And sadly indicative of the unprofessionalism that was to follow in his running of the club.

Is why he did it really relevant?  I don't believe anyone's claiming he's given the club money because he loves us.  The point is money has gone in not the other way around.

He hasn't given the club any money, he's loaned it.

Isn't it interest free, and saving the club £6m a season?

He's still getting his 'loan' back, so the idea he's clearing the debts out of the goodness of his heart is complete bollocks.

I wasn't even implying that. It's still very good for the club though.

You either want him out or you don't. He's a businessman, he'd want some sort of profit if he sold it on. That's the way it is.

That's what he wanted to do. The failure to do so is because he was too stupid to do his homework and he walked into a booby trap left by SJH.

Speculation again mate. There's absolutely no proof to say he was here to make a quick buck. Why go to all the trouble with meetings and all that and sitting with the fans if that was the case? A lot doesn't add up if that was the case.

He's made mistakes, aye, his structure hasn't worked yet, but howay man. :clap2:

That will be reflected in the price of the company, not the value of the debt.  Unless you think the company is now worth less than £100m?

He's loaned the company £100m, I transferred some of my Directors loan account into shares to make my balance sheet solvent, thats "subsiding" your company, not a loan like Mike Ashley.

To get the fans onside and sell three year season tickets which worked like a charm.

NUSC has already done something positive, they have dragged fans away from the web, their homes etc. to talk about the club outside of match day. Kudos.

Anyone know what has happened at the meeting tonight?

Liam Liam Liam O's rapier wit meant they all went home with their tails between their legs and they're not playing anymore.

Let's wait & see what positives come out of the public meeting.

Boycotting the club isn't an answer though.  That was always my point (as you know).

Unfortunately, I don't think NUSC have enough money to invest in a crystal ball.

Newcastle United needs a supporters club whether Ashley is here for much longer or not. We constantly go on about how our fans are the best in the business but IIRC we're one of the biggest clubs not to have a dedicated supporters club. Once the Ashley issue is sorted then i'm sure, especially in this day and age when supporters are the dirt on the shoe of the football world, they'll represent the fans in other ways.

NUSC dont have plan if they suceed in removing Ashley? Theres a gap in logic and sense in there somewhere...

I resent the idea that someone is taking firm action against something I love with absolute blantent disregard to the future of the club.

That's what would stick with me, if it was true. If he's looking to make money from his time here then it leaves a very sour taste indeed.

It's like me buying a clapped out car and crashing it a few times and then trying to sell it on for more than I paid for it.

Anyone know what has happened at the meeting tonight?

Yes. Not a lot.

A few questions to be passed onto the club and lots of anti management talk. No discussion of supporting a team in much need of a full, positive stadium like last Sunday!

Have you been listening properly?

One of the major points raised tonight was that we need to support the side during the games for the remainder of the season.

Fans talk about the club every fucking day of the week outside the the web and match day, in the pubs, in the work places and all over the city.

We can determine how much he gets out of it, we are the clubs greatest asset. If we stay away he either pours more money in to keep it running the way it is, or he sells for a lesser amount, the longer he leaves it the greater chance he has of losing more and more.

We can have the power, depends whether we want to exercise it.
