Is on the verge of signing for us if you believe nufc.com.

 

Wigan's Ryan Taylor and Bolton's Kevin Nolan are said to be "close" to moving to St. James' Park but both deals are still to be agreed.

 

If true, the pair would be more than welcome in our eyes - Taylor, if only to stop him scoring against us....

He wouldnt improve our us that much. He'd add a bit of depth to the squad I guess but once Beye's back then Taylor's oot.

 

And I think he'd be alright with that. He can also play on the right side of midfield so no more slo mo Geremo when Jonas needs a break.

 

Good option to have.
