Guest Howaythetoon
NUFC - Cole None NUFC - I don't really have a fave but I remember being in awe of Boban at AC Milan in the 90s and pretty much their entire team and a galaxy of Serie A stars like Batistuta, Signori, Savicevic, as well as the likes of Hagi, Stoichkov, Romario, Bebeto, Luis Enrique etc. Closer to home Le Tissier. More recently Zidane, C. Ronaldo, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Messi, Rooney, Raul, Beckham, Owen of Liverpool If I had to pick an all-time fave none NUFC player it would have to be Zidane, to watch anyway. One of the games most interesting players, much lke Cassano.

Gallowgate Toon
NUFC - Shearer in his prime and Jonathon Woodgate he was possibly the classiest defender i've ever seen play bar Nesta, he made defending good to watch. Out of the current team when Martins is having a good game he's brilliant. Premiership - Fabregas, Gerrard, Van Persie and Torres. All time - Henry and Ronaldo. Guest Ian56
Best player I ever saw play for the black and white shirt was Tony Green - by a country mile. Early 70's and anyone who saw him knew he was something special. I consider myself fortunate to have seen him in his pomp before his injury when he played inside forward. Superb technique, balance and control back when football was a proper man's game. The only player I consider above him was Maradona.
