WhatTheFunk
I can just imagine Joe being trundled into the operating theatre on the trolley, eyes half shut and drowsy under the anaesthetic, asking: "Now which one's the f***ing surgeon...you're a c..." predictable as fuck but made me laugh no end
James
Like I think the period after surgery is the greater risk than on the table. or at leas that's what I've learnt from Holby City. Joe should be in our thoughts just as much right now.

Being concerned about Joe's health and well-being, and hearing some news about the op is totally different to demanding answers about Keegan or transfer funds ffs! Robster
so he will be coming back eventually hmmm. Not so sure. Last weekend, he simply went in for check ups and everything was fine. 5 days later he was having a triple heart bypass so we are bound to learn more as the week progresses. Still be amazed if his doctor allow him back this season. If I was Mrs Kinnear I would go bonkers at him for coming back this season

Dave
I'll be surprised if there's not something by close of play tomorrow, I think that's a reasonable time to wait unless there have been complications.

I think its something you won't see mentioned as although likelihood decreases over time, there are still potential complications particularly while he remains in hospital unfortunately. Dave
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/newcastle/4688427/Newcastles-Joe-Kinnear-recovering-well-after-heart-bypass-surgery.html Hughton said: "Everything that we've heard is good news. He is recovering well. He moved into his own room today and his progress has been good. "I have spoken to Joe. I have rung him a few times, but I appreciate where he is and that's he's not going to be accessible. "He's had major surgery and we are only five days post-surgery. "But at some stage he will be very much itching to get on the phone and to know what's happening. At what stage that will be I'm not sure, but it will no doubt be at the earliest convenience. "Joe is the kind of person who will find it hard to take a backward step from it all. He is the type who always wants to be very involved, he's used to being on the training pitch and in the middle of everything. When you are like that it is difficult. But Joe will be back. The way we are looking at it is, the statement we made last week, that he would be away for a two-month period, still applies."
