wormy
I hadn't seen Joe White is going on loan to Bradford along with Ashby. Hadnt realised he's 23. I guess this is just him getting farmed out until is contract expires if he's not properly broken in to the first team at this point.

TaylorJ_01
Doubt we got anything for that Seems odd. He was poached by AC Milan, then poached by us, now he's a league 2 player at only 20. If it was a loan it'd make sense, but permanent means he must be nae good. Presumably he was class only a couple of years ago, so god knows what we've done to him
Keegans Export
If it wasn't already obvious enough why these lads aren't being used to give Thiaw, Tonali, Bruno etc a break. Yes, in an ideal world we'd have three or four young lads ready to play 30mins here or there but we don't. And it's not because Eddie is too cautious, it's because they're absolutely miles off Premier League level.
TaylorJ_01
Gone down the rabbit hole of seeing where some of our young up-and-coming players from the last decade are. Some good old names Remie Streete, Mackenzie Heaney and the like. Fun reading

Lotus
I honestly didn't realise that investing in the academy didn't count towards PSR. If we haven't to a significant degree it would mean, for me at least that there is a very real and close ceiling to PIF's ambitions regarding us as a powerhouse of a football club. Would indicate that's largely rhetoric.
Big Geordie
The damage that was done to the academy during the Ashley years, can't be overstated enough.
