I mentioned in here a few weeks ago about the high hopes the club have for the Under 15’s group with them, in the clubs view, being the second best team in the country for their age group (behind only Chelsea).

They played Liverpool away last week and beat them 7-2.

I also mentioned about quite a few of the under 15’s playing for England. Two of those players got hattricks in the game.

Beating Liverpool 7-2 is insane, good to know things are moving.

They’re the most highly regarded age group throughout the academy. More than half of them play for England. A few play a year up for England.

How is the lad from Blackburn we signed doing? Wasn’t he supposed to be really highly rated.

Finneran? He's been playing for the U21s but I don't think any of them are setting the world alight.

Do you mean Josh Kenchington from Barnsley?

If so, broke his toe in one of his first training sessions and just getting to fitness now. Hasn’t kicked a ball competitively.

edit - ah, Finneran, not sure on him tbh.

No surprises the number that actually make it is so small. Chris Rigg at Sunderland was supposed to be incredible but he’s miles off Miley levels

The cartel clubs will be sniffing already, it’s to be hoped we can get them signed up.

The U15s have been playing in a tournament in Philadelphia this week.

Lost 3-1 to Chicago Fire

Lost 3-1 to Philadelphia Union

Drew 2-2 with Monterrey

Lost 1-0 to Chicago in a consolation match as they didn't get out of group stage

Dortmund and Man United also involved. There's also U16 and U18 tournaments but NUFC not there.

Was only 3 of the regular under 15's side as it was a birth year of 2011 tournament, so was mostly made up year below I believe.
