We stay up - £40 mil We go down - Zilch, He sells up. We'd probably sell Martins, Jonas and Barton. Then bring in Bobby Zamora, Nick Barmby and Danny Murphy. While making a profit of course. TaylorJ_01
I reckon Owen, Martins, Gutierrez, Coloccini, Bassong, Enrique, Nolan, Barton, Xisco (despite seeing nothing of him), Beye will all be looking to leave. Players I would keep and I think would stay would be Viduka, Duff, Butt and Taylor. Unfortunately that leaves us with no squad. Would like, therefore, to see Lua-Lua, Carrol, Ranger and maybe a few others put into the first team or make regular appearences. We may need quite a bit of money if we go down tbh

Unlucky Luque
He'll promise Shearer a £60m battlechest, and when the window closes we'll only have signed Kitson and De Ridder because of lacking funds.

Wallace
It will be interesting how they replace the players that leave as Championship players don't come cheap these days and we are going to need a lot of new players.

He hasn't taken anything out of the club... unlike his predecessors. I wonder how much that sportsdirect.com advertising would have cost if he had to pay for it. And while he may not have taken money out, he certainly hasn't put any real value into the team.
Gash
Maybe hes learnt from his mistakes and will put a decent amount (20million) + sales? Plus that may keep Shearer at the club.

We stay up - £40 mil We go down - Zilch, He sells up. I'd not put any money on Ashley selling up if we go down, the HBOS share deal he was involved in suggests that he'll hang on to the club, he lost £millions with his bet on the price of HBOS shares rather than getting out early and losing a much lower amount. If he believes that the club can gain promotion again within a season or two he'll hang on in the knowledge that the value of his investment will rise substantially if we're in the Premiership. Unless someone in Newcastle strikes oil under their house Beverly-Hillbillies-style we're very likely to be stuck with Ashley for the foreseeable future. Guest north shields lad
If we stay up, maybe 15 million, but it will be enough for us not to be in the same posistion next year, if we go down, i dont think we will be back up in a hurry.

What in the name of holy hell is a battlechest!? A lass with metal tits? Dave Kitson wouldn't be the worst signing in the world if we're aiming low, like a shitter version of Crouch with a point to prove
