Liam Liam Liam O
Owen proved again tonight that he's just not got it any more as a top class centre forward. It's getting to the point where I'm starting to think I'd be disappointed if he was here next season.
La Parka
Finished. Shame he cant.
AyeDubbleYoo
I've defended him but if we stay up it's time for him to move on. We can't move the club forward paying so much to Michael Owen every week. We just need to make sure the players we bring in are right.
juniatmoko
finished. too much wages, could be big problem in dressing room.
Guest Chubby Jason
No, I'd be delighted if he stayed, playing in a team playing well he will score plenty. I read in his programme notes today that he has the best chance conversion % in the league this season.
Guest YANKEEBLEEDSMAGPIE
owen out. dead fucking wood.
Robster
I am not sure. Part of me thinks he is just making sure he avoids being injured to ensure a summer move. If no one comes in with a suitable offer and he ends up staying until the start of next season/September, he may knuckle down again
La Parka
Also his wages = 3 players.
Guest Albert Square
This club is in desperate need to move on from Owen, for months sensible fans knew this but the club was in a position where it wanted Owen, now we are moving to a position where Owen wants us, should we give him what HE wants? No, it isnt in the clubs best interests. I hope Ashley ignores the media and takes the clubs bests interests to heart and lets Owen go.
Guest Howaythetoon
Massively. He's shot as a footballer although he'll always score goals but for him to do that he needs the kind of service only your top teams can supply. Its a pain to see him toil away up front with zero quality and increasingly zero end result.
lovejoy
never thought i would say this but yes, i would be disappointed. he just isnt doing it, and with his wages, and fitness record, is a liability. plus, he's no captain.
Fenham Mag
If he takes a massive wage cut i wouldn't be disappointed. He's a high profile player who will attract other players to the club. Not defending him btw, he is absolute garbage
GM
He's a cancer in the dressing room. Hopefully next season the squad will be a Scouse-free zone.
Oakie Doke
I'd be happy for him to stay if he wasn't on such ridiculous wages.
Mowen
Depends on the conditions of his potential stay. Starting to feel more and more like a yes after the last couple of months.
Ronaldo
Never going to be the player we need, finished as a top striker and a total joke of a captain get rid
CPL
Lower wages of course we should keep him, he still has a brilliant football brain just in a team low on confidence at the moment.
Disco
Sums everything that is wrong with the club at the moment. Get rid, bring in 3 young, hungry players on his total wage

dinotheprehistoricgeordie
Unless he signs a new contract for 20k a week or less he can fuck right off.
Oakie Doke
surely if anyone can get Owen to recapture some of his old form it's his best mate Shearer.
