Guest Phil K
Its true - the disgraceful self-pitying performance was the most disgusting performance in a unforgiveable season. And I agree with the above. This lot will NOT come straight up WBA and Boro may, but this lot of lazy blood sucking parasites damn well won't. Kaizero
At least we don't have to use the editor on FM to become "saviours of Newcastle from the Championship."

Players like Bassong and Beye are probably already being hawked around by their agents, they may well have a clause in their contract that they go if a bid of £Xm comes in. That's why I'm pessimistic about a speedy return.
Tsunami
My, how the Villa fans are gloating on their forum; they think they've killed the devil team & a region of fat bastards.
Ronaldo
just got back no fight, no ability, no bollocks whatsoever. And what the fuck is Shearer playing at playing Edgar at RB when we have a natural RB on the bench? Needs to learn his trade as a manager in the championship

Ronaldo
Shearer just said everyone's not been good enough, named Keegan, Ashley, himself, Kinnear, Hughton but mainly the players. Needs a root and branch sorting out of the club, top to bottom. Balls of titanium. I hope he stays for the next decade. had you been at Villa park today you wouldn't be coming out with that yeah, i'm very, very pleased that he's our manager but still has a long way to go before we can safely say he's the right man for the job in the long term

And what the f*** is Shearer playing at playing Edgar at RB when we have a natural RB on the bench? Edgar's a good CB, but not a RB.

Cronky
A big thank you to all those fans who showed defiant support for the club yesterday. They gave the right message. The cameras were looking for crying Geordies and they only managed to find one. I know we deserve to go down, but I find it hard to get over the fact that if we'd scored just one goal in our last two matches we'd have stayed up. Not difficult even for a bad side when it's Fulham at home, and an away game against a team whose season is over. And we failed to do it.

We simply weren't good enough and got what we deserved. The support though was sensational and the Premier League will become a poorer place without it. Guest toonlass
On a positive note, I have a lovely suntan on my arms and face from standing in the Doug Ellis Lower yesterday. There was no cover at all from the Upper Stand where we were.
La Parka
"The balance of Newcastle's squad is wrong, revealed by Duff starting at left-back, a rookie in David Edgar struggling at right-back against Ashley Young. Midfield is too pedestrian of pace, thought and passing. Attack has some class but Mark Viduka is too injury-prone and Obafemi Martins too prone to playing the game on his own. They rarely threatened. Owen arrived late to the wake and hardly touched the ball. " Spot on.

Couldn't agree more about Taylor, sure he's been poor for us, but surely he could do a better job than Edgar
