According to SSN, Campbell is 3/1 to sign for us now, or 5/1 to sign for Spurs

Bound to be a registration issue seeing as he walked out rather than finished his contract, probs end up being held up til 1 Jan

Sol Campbell has left Notts County by mutual consent after playing only one game for the League Two club.

Executive chairman Peter Trembling told the club website Campbell "could not adjust to the long-term nature of the project under way at Notts County".

he realised he dropped a bollock and thinks he'll be ancient by the time they win a few promotions

I hear he will train with us now, help out in a coaching role until he can sign as a player in January.

Why didn't we just loan him off them then? Wouldn't he have been able to play if that was the case.

Yeah but it seems as though there has been a huge falling out, a loan deal would have been good but to late for that to happen now.,

from whats being said in media he was hoping for coaching role there so it might be a good idea to have him as player coach here, coach until jan while he can get in the equivalent of a pre-season and be ready for action when he can play, if he's even on the radar here.

Also if the wages the papers recon he was getting at Notts County are true it would have been impossible to do a loan deal.  No way are we going to pay him £40k a week and no way are County going to pay half or more of his wages while he's not playing for them when instead they could just end his contract and pay nothing.
