Coco
But Ashley, also boss of Sports Direct, wants a quick sale as he prepares for a legal battle after an Office of Fair Trading investigation into claims of operating a cartel. That could mean a prison sentence and £140m fine.
Shak
Be fairly funny if Ashley sold us and then got put in jail.
jdckelly
BARRY MOAT is on the brink of completing his takeover at Newcastle. But insiders admit he is frustrated that managing director Derek Llambias has slowed the deal by flying off on holiday. http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/543020/Barry-Moat-is-on-the-brink-of-completing-his-takeover-at-Newcastle.html damn its the notw so its not true

Cajun
Be fairly funny if Ashley sold us and then got put in jail. Knowing our luck he will go to prison just before the sale goes through and delay doing the deal until he gets out!
Dave
I am told Sheard’s main backers may be the New York-based Starr Foundation, a charitable investment fund. Moat and Sheard have met for talks in recent weeks, although it is unclear whether there is any prospect of them pooling resources to fund a bid for United. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Starr_Foundation
Guest ToonBart
The star foundation " it maintains a low profile.[2] It specializes in Asian arts and cultural philanthropy, but also makes grants in other areas, including education, medicine and healthcare, and public policy" And we are meant to believe that this charitable organisation has thought long and hard what to do next and decided that a UK championship football team is the best place for their money!! I know we are a bit of a charity case at the minute but seriously... If this is the company that Redheugh is basing all his postings on then I think it's safe to say that my interest in his riddles has now dwindled. Frazzle
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornelius_Vander_Starr Set up by Edwin van der Sar's dad by the sound of it, probably be a good back up for Harper if we could get him.

Keefaz
It specializes in Asian arts and cultural philanthropy, but also makes grants in other areas, including education, medicine and healthcare, and public policy/ So, the next obvious step would be to buy a football club on the other side of the world? Edit: Oh, I see others have already made this point, so please ignore it.
