Sifu
Completely forgot about Johnson. Can certainly do a job for England on the right/left. Just wish he was playing regular football at club level!

Mole_Toonfan
Johnson is good but extremely inconsistent for my liking, id rather put my trust in Ox long term as i think he has the capability to be more consistent and IMO more talented..... He will definitely be around the squad but starter in 2 years time? unless he leaves City iam not seeing it. I like Messi's team and its more realistic for the Euro's than my team is BTW speaking about Johnson, another Johnson ( Glen) has impressed me greatly recently and not just at RB either at LB aswell maybe he's the answer to Cole long term. Never thought id say that even 6 months ago.
Cronky
Hart Johnson Smalling Jones Cole Wilshere Barry Gerrard Young Rooney Welbeck Really unsure who to go for as CB, so chose a club combination that's an investment into the future. Young Oxy to make the squad, and possibly the team because I doubt that Wilshere will be ready.

David28
Just read that on bbc. Think he's spot on with that. From Joshua Cardiff: "Harry has taken this Spurs team as far as they can go, players will leave at the end of the season, Adebayor will return to City. This is the perfect time to quit and a win-win situation to become England manager, bomb out of the Euros, claim there wasnt enough time, win it and return as a god." gbandit
Scholes is the best passer of the football in the league still. Silva and Modric have better movement off the ball and with it but for just straight passing, Scholes is still the best in my opinion.

Fenham Mag
I just think it sends out the wrong message and opens the door for the old rearguard to stick around. I rather have Ox-Chamberlain there instead of Scholes.

Guest gggg
We were worse with Scholes at his peak than with Lampard/Gerrard. Improved when he was moved to the left and didn't lose anything when he retired.
EthiGeordie
In the long run I think Hodgson is a better International manager than Arry. Give Arrry Euro 2012 then hire Hodgson starting the world cup qualification.
Sifu
Taking Scholes to the Euros would be a massive step backwards. He never really managed to hit his club form at the international stage either (well, towards the end of his England career anyway). We have quite a few up and coming players too so I'd rather pick them.
gbandit
I just think it sends out the wrong message and opens the door for the old rearguard to stick around. I rather have Ox-Chamberlain there instead of Scholes. Ox is excellent, such a direct player with pace, confidence and trickery. He's the closest in terms of excitement as when Rooney broke through (was it 2004?) so I would definitely take him. I don't know whether Scholes would be any good for England but he still remains a superb footballer and passer of the ball. I hate him though
