He's not looked that impressive since the turn of the year. Without Matic in front he's looked ordinary. But aye overall he's probably been the best CB this season.

 

I think he needs to be recalled. He'd add some much needed experience to the team. Plus him and Cahill are Chelsea's CBs.

 

 

 

We don't need to add experience, we need to give experience to the younger players, so they have a vague hope of winning a game by WC 2018.

The fact that Phil Jones is there shows how poor our defensive options are.

Jones is better than Smalling

 

Reminds me of the time I had 50kg of liquid shit poured in each hand and which one would end up holding more.

Is Ryan Shawcross still alive? He any good at football? I think I'm a little out of touch atm.

Was Roy the manager when Zlatan scored the four? Think he hasn't had a chance since then.

 

Thing is somebody like Shawcross is ideal for the way Hodgson likes his defence line to drop deep and absorb pressure.
