It's arguable that all four of our U21 players are better than the two that have been picked for the full squad.

In a way it's a good thing, gives them time to gel and to get to know each other. They're probably going to learn more at the Under-21 Championships then two games for the national side, two games that at the end of the day are slightly meaningless, ones a Freindly and ones a game against Slovenia (for a competition we've essentially qualified for), so if it means having a weakened squad for a better future, I'm all for it.

Just looking at the qualifying tables. It's very possible that Wales, Noethern Ireland, and one of Scotland and Rep Ireland will all qualify.

Imagine if we were all in 1 group in the Euro's as well.

Why is there an Irishman reffing this? Reminds me of that Manc that reffed us against Manchester United.

 

It's mostly Englishmen against Englishmen, to be fair.

 

There's two English players playing for Ireland and neither of those are regular starters
