Dokko
Did we win the World Cup yet? If you hade 11 Wilshere's you actually might. The guy is such a good footballer. Too bad he seems to be a cunt when he's losing. Unlike the Brazilian players who are just cunts when they are winning.
Flip
Hosting a World Cup is a great advantage once the tournament actually arrives, but playing all of these ridiculous friendlies instead of going through an actual qualification campaign is the worst possible preparation. It really is, but I think the Confederations Cup will be very good. At least with Scolari we have arranged friendlies against England, France and so on and not China, Iran... From what I saw today I think Scolari will draw the same conclusions. Ronaldinho, Arouca aren't good enough. We might actually revert to a 3-4-3 like in 2002. Dante was good today, so was the s*** Colo and we then have Dede and Thiago Silva out injured. We have the players for a 3-4-3/3-5-2 like in 2002. AyeDubbleYoo
Thought it was decent for an international friendly. Love Wilshere as well, the way he carries the ball forward into the tightest spaces is brilliant.
Tooj
I see the likes of Wilshere and Welbeck aren't available for selection for the U-21 squad. It's a shame IMO as it gives them invaluable tournament experience.
SEMTEX
I think Welbeck should be in there, I can understand them not wanting to break Wilshere with extra games.

Mole_Toonfan
I don't find the Rio selection that funny tbh, i think he's been outstanding for last few months for Man Yoo and against Madrid he was faultless anything that went anywhere near him he dealt with casual brilliance. He's actually been very very good for Man Utd recently.
leffe186
We're just not very good, are we? We're all right, honestly. We're neither as bad as people (and some media) say, or as good as the media (and some people) say. We're not as good as Spain, but we should be better than San Marino and Montenegro. The problem is, people like Dawson and Parker have actually played pretty well recently. I can understand the call-up from a "rewarding good form" perspective, but I just don't think they should be playing from a "building a squad" perspective. They're not technically good enough to play at the top level unless they are part of a well-drilled team, and I don't think we're that. Are there not younger alternatives available? Maybe not tbh. That's it, there aren't really any stand out alternatives. I look at that squad and think 'average'. At least on the international stage.
Disco
Didn't even realise Parker was back in, disappointing as I don't think he is up to it. Aside from that it's fine, can only pick from what you've got and unfortunately England only have a handful of top class players.
