I like Craven Cottage a lot. Lovely little place.

Shame the fans are fucking shite.

I agree though, the location and general ambience of the ground are excellent.

You barely notice home fans when you're in the away end anyway.

I was in the home end on my last visit there, right next to the away fans (Riverside Stand) and there was barely a whisper from the home lot despite the fact they were winning for most of the match and weren't behind for any of it. The Villa fans in the away enclosure were fantastic all game long and the Fulham lot just sat and snoozed in the sunshine despite the fact their side were playing some nice football.

Away and home fans mingled around the beer tents though with no trouble at all, reminded me of a pre-season friendly somewhere nice and quaint. Weather was lovely too.

I meant in general. Away fans are always far louder than homes. The only real noise I heard from a home end all season was at the Brittania.

Aye, but you still get chants from at least pockets of the home fans. There was literally nothing from the whole home crowd, apart from one airing of "Ful-ham *clap clap clap*" just before halftime.

Did you see them parading Al Fayed before the game with that stupid song btw? They are Real Madrid, they are Barcelona, we are Fulham Eff-Err-See and we are gonna own ya! They've got no points we've got three, hoo-hoo, ha-ha, hee-hee! Whilst Al Fayed comes out twirling a scarf.

Dunno if they do that every game like but I pissed myself as did my mates and my dad, whereas the home fans just looked non-plussed as the Villa lot roared WHAT THE FUCKING HELL WAS THAT?

Loved my visit to the Olympic Stadium in Berlin last year.

I'll upload a video off my old phone tomorrow.

Heading to the Amsterdam ArenA next month. Looks very colourful from the pics I've seen of it!

Aye Allianz Arena is first class! But Dortmund's ground is one of a kind, can't remember the name though..

Other stadiums I like:

SJP

Park Head

Bessa Stadium (Boavista)

Ali Sami Yen (Galatasaray)

And loads of others...

Couldn't agree more.

The whole "package" of an away day at Fulham is just perfect

If you get a match there in the spring, and the sun is out, it is pretty much the perfect PL football day.

SJP is fantastic. I love the way it towers above the city as you approach from Gateshead. It's gonna be quite a thrill for those fans who don't usually get to visit, when they see it for the 1st time next season. Especially the likes of Scunny and peterborough, who are used to going to the likes of Cheltenham.

I don't like new stadiums because they're all the same with different coloured seats. The Reebok is probably the best of the bunch, 'cause of the different design.

Particularly dislike Wigans "JJB" on account of it being an identikit stadium where i've seen us lose on 4 trips out of 4.

Going back a few years, Shrewsburys "gay meadow" was very picturesque. Surrounded by trees and next to the river. Some old bloke used to row up and down the river, fishing out the stray footballs.

It's a shame they tend to spoil it with them clapper things and a cringeworthy announcer. Everything else is a welcome change from the usual fare. Will be a miss this season.

I'll never cease to manifest a raging semi every time the train goes over the Tyne, when i'm off up to the game. Especially at night when the floodlights are on. Absolutely immense.

Dortmunds Westfalenstadion, incredible!

Man, that looks like 4 walls of nothing but fans, seems a bit intimidating like.

Aye, you wouldn't like to be the opposing team there like.. The thing is also, it's always packed! Tickets only cost about a tenner so the average croud is over 70k every game.

Man, that's pretty class like. Think that's just became my new favourite stadium outside of the Toon.
