just been up with the wife and kids. we queued from outside shearers and got in 45 mins later just as the Robson family were in. very touching moment.

 

just a note to say there was an A4 sized message tied to one of the seats attached to a shirt saying that "it should have been Ashley"!!!!!!!!! anyone else notice it?

NEWCASTLE United are offering supporters the opportunity to pay tribute to Sir Bobby Robson who passed away on Friday aged 76.

 

Anyone wishing to lay tributes to Sir Bobby may gain access to St James Park on Sunday between 9am - 5pm and then during the week starting again on Monday at 9am. Enter via the Tunnel access at the North West Corner of the Stadium. Condolence books are also laid out in the Old Milburn Reception.

 

The Club would also like to invite fans to email their tributes to [email protected] and we will post as many as possible on nufc.co.uk throughout the day.

Just got back, queued from outside of Shearer's bar to get in to pay my respects. Got there about 330 and stewards were trying to turn people away saying they may not get in by 5. As I left the ground at 450 there must have still been at least 500 more still queing to get in. Hope they got in.

 

At St James' metro someone has laid a single white rose where Sir Bobby's footprints are too.
