What is similar about it, Everton have a top 8 squad and top 8 manager, we had a bottom 8 squad and league two manager. Everton has a problem in their own way and could easily go down if this shit continues, and they don't have some arab guy to break the bank for them. A couple of dodgy results or.. An owner who doesn't want the club, a number of managers during the season either unproven or not good enough, a squad full of players who can't be arsed or aren't good enough, club on the decline for a number of years...... Anyway, not anymore, not since I've experienced it myself, whoever goes down goes down, it could be Sunderland and I wouldn't care , just so long as Newcastle go up and don't ever go down again.
