Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
I know it's not much of a surprise but it's still mental to think we are likely to have lost Carroll, Nolan, Barton and Enrique in the space of seven months.
AyeDubbleYoo
f***ing hell. Does anyone think we'll replace him? Have my doubts. Absolutely ridiculous. Of course we won't. Can't wait to see this decision being defended. Been going on all day. No fault on Joey's part in this?

Guest Antec
lee_ryder Lee Ryder #nufc I'm hearing Joey Barton has been released Gerrin, now don't hold back Joey, tell us EXACTLY what's been going on Got his chance now. Can he be believed though? It doesn't really matter, he should do interviews with the papers as 'someone close to Joey Barton/a Joey Barton insider' Tried and tested

STM
Correct decision IMO. He's an idiot. Fuck off, man The correct decision to release one of our best bloody players because he dares to criticise the bucknuts in charge? We're a bloody shambles yet again. Nothing to do with the owners or the ability of the player. He's done enough to get sacked ten times over.

oldtype
Knowing barton he probably just went up and punched Llambias or something to give them no choice, but surely we could have managed better? I just don't get it

Can't wait to see this decision being defended. Been going on all day. No fault on Joey's part in this? If it was, Enrique would have been released by now too. Considering he's fucked up on Twitter a few times now. Oh no wait, he's worth a decent wedge of money.
Flip
2nd time Joey has been released in the last couple of years. First from jail, and now from club. #helmet
gdm
This club is a joke, get sent to prison they will stick by you. Slag the owner on twitter you will get released

Can't wait to see this decision being defended. Been going on all day. No fault on Joey's part in this? See my earlier comment. I can't see how things being out in public changes anything. Sure it's unprofessional but if this was going to happen it was going to happen. It's really no different from Llambias giving comments to the Express all the time despite that statement I posted earlier assuring everyone that wouldn't happen. David Icke - Son of God
Piss off Joey and take Enrique with you. Aye. We don't want players with any genuine talent at the club.

SEMTEX
Is there any actual confirmation of this, or just some twitter journo dickhead? If this is true, it's fucking madness. He's an idiot. f*** off, man The correct decision to release one of our best bloody players because he dares to criticise the bucknuts in charge? We're a bloody shambles yet again. To be honest, the correct decision is to sell him earlier. You gotta think again about Barton's case. The root of the problem is his contract renewal. Does he worth a 2 year extension with the same level of wages? If your answer is yes, no problem. If your answer is no, then just like what's happening now - Barton refused to sign and start "twittering". After so many damages the only way is to release him. I know this is a big IF but, would Barton do the same even if it's not Ashley/Llambias in charge? My guess is yes, he would do the same, given his glorious record.
