Certainly cost him two weeks wages that line, possibly more.

It's as good as a written transfer request in my eyes.

As if he'll give a fuck. We'll be lucky if he's here for another two weeks.

No he doesn't, which just shows his stance. Doesn't show him in a good light, and disappointing as I really believe we'd cope with the loss of Nolan as captain if Joey grew up and took responsibility. As it stands, tweeting disruptive comments is more important than the club right now, a club that's stood by him when the whole of the country called for him to be sacked and never to play football again.

In the sense that it's what'll happen, or that you'll blame him for it?

On the one hand Enrique gets blamed for not speaking out and people say it proves Pardew et al are telling pure unspun truth, on the other Barton will be castigated for rocking the boat and making it impossible to stay here...

He needs to shut the fuck up to be honest. There was nothing wrong with the tweet until the hashtag... there's just no need.

Why should he shut up? He's being jerked around as much as anyone!

Maybe, but sniping at the Club / Owners on Twitter isn't really the best way to get his message across.

If the players aren't man enough to stay and aren't proud enough to play for Newcastle United because KEVIN NOLAN...yes, Kevin Nolan...not Shearer, Beckham, Zidane, etc. has left, they can fuck off.

Even if that's true how f***ing unprofessional? He's gone. Bye.

Agree.  Fucking ludicrous thing to say.

He's obviously learned from the best, can't imagine who that would be though

Perhaps because he's on an extortionate amount of money to behave professionally?

The club really don't give a fuck about the players or the fans. Joey has been told he isnt wanted, the club captain, the best club captain we have had in ages is being sold, our young, local, promising striker was shipped out. Why the hell should anyone, including Barton, just bend over and take this?

On SSN now. I don't think they were making a big deal of Nolan leaving us until that Tweet. What an absolute idiot.

Can say what he likes as far as I'm concerned. High time somebody within the club called these charlatans out. Just like KK, he'll be called worse than shit for trying to get people to cotton on to the disgusting way our club is being run. He's a goner anyway and Enrique, Tiote, Colo and Jonas won't be long after him.

Ah yes, twitter, that last bastion of passive-aggressive defiance and courage.  Rage against the dying of the light, Joey.

Come on man Wullie. As far as the national press, etc. were concerned, upto now this was simply "Nolan having medical with West Ham". Now all of a sudden, Sky Sports News are reporting "Barton, Jose Enrique & Jonas next" on the back of one sentence. The man is thick as mince.
