No he doesn't, which just shows his stance. Doesn't show him in a good light, and disappointing as I really believe we'd cope with the loss of Nolan as captain if Joey grew up and took responsibility. As it stands, tweeting disruptive comments is more important than the club right now, a club that's stood by him when the whole of the country called for him to be sacked and never to play football again. As far as the national press, etc. were concerned, upto now this was simply "Nolan having medical with West Ham". Now all of a sudden, Sky Sports News are reporting "Barton, Jose Enrique & Jonas next" on the back of one sentence. The man is thick as mince.
