Guest antz1uk
My team for Cardiff starting line-up ------------------ harper ------------------ Simpson - Taylor - Collocini - Enrique -------------------Smith ------------------- -----Barton -- Guthrie -- Nolan ------------------- Lovenkrands ------- -------------- Ranger ------------------ Last 30 mins or so ------------------ harper ------------------ Simpson - Taylor - Collocini - Enrique -Raylor -- Barton -- Smith -- Nolan --------Carroll --- Ranger --------------- This is based on ameobi & guti not being fit, aswell as guthrie and lovenkrands needing match fitness due to recent injury and fitness levels respectively, along with carroll just coming back from injury, we can keep smith in the middle of the park to break up and clean up in front of the defence with barton and guthrie playing some good balls either throught to lovenkrands or to ranger to hold the ball up as he did superbly on monday
Mowen
If Loven is fit and no-one else returns I'd imagine the team/formation will remain the same but with Lover in for Gezza.
STM
Harper Taylor Simpson Taylor Enrique Smith Barton Guthrie Loven Nolan Ranger Is what i would go for, but i have a feeling that Guthrie and Barton will be the other way around.
Frazzle
http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10278~1785333,00.html Carroll's back.
JH
Harper Simpson Taylor Colo Enrique R.Taylor Nolan Smith Guthrie Carroll Lovenkrands Subs: Krul, Geremi, Butt, Ranger, Lua Lua, Barton, Kadar. We have to go for experience in this IMO, so it's got to be Loven and Big Andy upfront. Midfield and defence speaks for itself, Barton looked very off the pace on Monday, I don't think he's fully fit yet.
SUPERTOON
Harper Simpson Taylor Colo Enrique R.Taylor Nolan Smith Guthrie Carroll Lovenkrands We have to go for experience in this IMO, so it's got to be Loven and Big Andy upfront. Midfield and defence speaks for itself. Hughton will go 4-5-1, if Lovenkrands starts it will be in midfield IMO.

The only times he has played 4-5-1 thus far have been down to injury (Crystal Palace and Leceister) or resting of players (Huddersfield). There's no way he'll do it because of team threat because he played two up top at West Brom, arguably our biggest rivals before the season began. The lure of playing Lovenkrands will be too great I reckon, and it'll be 4-4-2.

Frazzle
Harper Taylor Taylor Coloccini Enrique Guthrie Smith Nolan Barton Lovenkrands Carrol I think it'll be the same but with Simpson at RB, R.Taylor dropped to the bench.
Leazes1986
Doubt Lovenkrands will start like: ----------------------Harper------------------ Simpson-----Taylor------Colo-------------Enrique Barton-----Guthrie------Smith----------R.Taylor --------------------Nolan------------------------- ------------------Carroll-------------------------- I reckon

Guest Chris P
This is a big one , reckon Cardiff are one of the bigger threats this season. If we do the cunts ,then we're sorted.
Jayson
Hard to guess what Hughton will go for on this one Ill go for Harper Rtaylor, Taylor, Colo, Enrique Barton, Nolan, Smith, Guthrie Carroll, Ranger Every chance that he wont want to push Ranger to much & play someone else instead actually. Maybe something random like Geremi on the left & Nolan pushed up behind Carroll again.
cubaricho
There's no way Simpson won't play.
midds
If we can go to Cardiff and win then we'll go up as champions imo. It's one of our toughest fixtures this season and I'd probably take a point, but if get 3 points then we'll kick on and bum rush the muthafucka. AyeDubbleYoo
For all that Cardiff are a good side and threatening going forward, if we can put out our first choice back 4 we should have more than enough to cope with them. Best team in the Championship is still the equivalent of playing Hull or someone like that.
TRon
For all that Cardiff are a good side and threatening going forward, if we can put out our first choice back 4 we should have more than enough to cope with them. Best team in the Championship is still the equivalent of playing Hull or someone like that. Fair point. Their most dangerous player is Michael Chopra. Can you imagine us shaking in our shoes at the prospect of him lining up against us a season ago?

Lotus
....................Harper..................... Simpson..Saylor..Colo..........Ricky .....Barton.....Smith....Guthrie....... ....Ranger....Carroll....Loven......... Might be useful. Carroll's got plenty to aim at for flick ons if we go long ball, bit of pace for counter attack as well. Swap one the front 3 for Nolan if we want to stifle the game later on. Our total lack of a RW is a real pisser imo. Because of our lack of natural width i think whatever formation we go out with it will be pretty fluid, no one who's going to start is going to hog the touchline. Whoever's there will drift in by instinct alone.
