If we played Jenas alongside a good defensive midfielder and some one a bit more creative we'd be doing alright.

Agreed.

Ok let a boy dream for a minute, I know it's not realistic but.

                                  Harper

Van Der Wiel        Taylor      Coloccini      Enrique

(Ajax)

                    Jenas                  Muamba

                            KP Boateng/Diamanti

Amrabat                                                  Jonas

(PSV)

                                Carroll

I'm assuming the current bottom 3 go down.

You mean get 2 others to do the work to cover over the fact that he isnt good enough ?

His fitness will make up for his lack of forward contribution.

A genuine question - do you reckon Muamba is proper midtable Premiership quality ?

News flash, we're in the Championship, no where near midtable Premiership quality.

Er, I think Kezman was on about the summer, unless you think Jenas and Diamanti will come down here.

So Nixon did you list Muamba because you thought he is of solid mid table premiership quality or is it because you think he is realistically attainable. No catch, genuine question, just purely interested to hear views from different people / perspectives.

Sorry I didn't respond.

I think he's attainable, and I think he'll do a job, if you can't get technical players get physical ones, which is what he is.

Ta ta Nixon, I like your squad. Good selection and blend of reality / quality.

My only consideration is the players mental toughness, some players seem to go backwards playing at our ground because of the size and the fact the fans can be for want of a better word utter dicks when it's not going well.

Hughton says we're looking for a centre half and a striker in January. Says decisions are still to be made on loans like Harewood.

He's obviously suffering from midfield-blindness then.

Rob Hulse - HA HA HA!!! I said to the lad next to me that Hulse is the sort player I want to see Boro sign.

Hulse would be excellent in a better team than Derby (plus, they created nowt today - he was playing in midfield pretty much), remember how good he was in the Premiership for Sheffield United? If he wasn't injured with about 11 games to go, I reckon they'd have stayed up that season.
