AyeDubbleYoo
Those are the weaknesses he needs to address for sure, but good signs from the game tonight.

Weezertron
I know he's injured all the time, but with all the people bringing up how well he does in preseason - isn't that just a result of him only ever getting to play in preseason? Even if he stayed fit for the next year, is he really going to get any games? Pardew doesn't pick his team on form.
Disco
Languid, number 10 type thriving in slower paced, low pressure, low tackling pre-season football.

alexf
Always seems to do the business in pre-season like. Yeah feel like he has scored or done something good in every pre-season since like 2010 or something.

Stifler
I think his time is up here in anyway. With Cabaye, Anita, Bigi, Gosling (for now), Ben Arfa, and Marveux all ahead of him in his position there is no chance he is going to get game time. You might be right about his time being up, but not even half of those play in his position.
maybe_next_year
he's still ony 20, so would say the next couple of seasons are really when he should be getting first team experience and pushing forwards with his development really, still plenty of time for him imo. Newcastle Fan
I don't understand people writing him off, he's clearly got talent and is only 20, think if he stays fit he'll have a part to play this season.
arnonel
Dont forget - We beat AC Milan, Madrid etc to his signing. Must be mint p.s. I think he will be.
Dr.Spaceman
I've still got faith in him tbh, he's showed glimpses in important games and if he can stay fit all season I'm confident he'll be an asset. One more lengthy injury and he's wrecked though, it would take some willpower to come back again.

Still though, young enough to still have a chance, everything depends on sorting his body out.
BrettNUFC
Tbh i made the error of thinking his time was up last season when he got crocked again, thought his chance had been and gone but i honestly had no idea he was still only 20, probably should have looked at that, assumed he was at least couple years older. Given he's only 20 he's definitely worth preserving with for at least another season as it's clear to see the lad does have a fair amount of ability when he is actually fit to play. Whether he can actually stay fit is another question, i can't see it myself but he's worth another chance considering his wages won’t be a problem. Lotus
This league is very much focused on athletic ability. Haris seems fairly strong and but he's not quick. Doesn't appear to have fantastic dribbling skillz. Good eye though and a very good left foot. Given the pace of play here, he will need to be very sharp mentally to succeed. That old cliche of being a yard or 2 ahead of everyone else in the head would apply.

Remains to be seen whether he'll ever get enough games though.

Needs regular football so either way he shouldn't be at the club this season because he is very unlikely to get it with us. Send him out for a few months, get him back January and then re-assess.
