Reports that he's signed a contract extension and has been immediately loaned to Bournemouth.

McClaren must have seen something in him but I'm still unsure if he's good enough, or ever will be good enough, for Premier League football.

I read Wigan. Strange one.

Apparently still rated highly by out coaching staff but not enough to play him regularly in the first team, this guy will continue to have potential until he is 30

Well, he has got the no.23 shirt after all

Such a bizarre career... Seemingly never does anything and never takes the opportunities when he is (briefly) given them but is still highly regarded and kept on at the club.

He hardly set the Scottish Championship alive with Rangers did he? And now he's at Wigan in League One... Yet we still want to keep him.

He was very good for Rangers wasn't he?

Yeah he rinsed that league by all accounts. Big step up to League One with Wigan.

Sorry it was Rotherham I was thinking of where he was poor, he did quite well at Rangers (which to be fair, is probably the league equivalent of our League 2)
