Cronaldo and David López's strikes this weekend made me realize we were going through a FK goal drought in La Liga. I checked some stats and sure enough, only 9 freekick goals have been scored so far this season. I also get the impression that there aren't that many FK goals in the Premiership either... am I wrong or are we going through a drought of great specialists?

Makes you wonder if the ball really has changed that much.

There were loads last season in La Liga. I cant think who the best freekick taker is in the world at the minute, maybe Ryan Taylor.

Sunderland, Stoke and Wolves in the bottom 5 of that table, it's clearly complete bollocks.

Huh.

I'm unsure about the table because it seems to give credit to teams for getting more yellow and red cards, I must be reading it wrong, Fulham have had the least yellows and reds, right? :frantic:

Either way, we're not less 'fair' than Sunderland, Stoke and Wolves, so it's clearly complete bollocks. :snod:
