Me.

Assuming you're paying for my flights and accommodation?

That's odd actually, earlier today I was thinking "hey, Dan's living in/near Philly isn't he?" True story.

Training Ground has had work done to it over the last few months. Under soil heating installed, and new turf to the top pitches (closest to the club house and barn). Think they're extended the car park too.

Good news, now hopefully that'll stop any minor injuries occurring.

I always get confused, and slightly annoyed, that people seem to believe that our training pitches are concrete blocks or something. The fields up at Darlsey Park are some of the softest fields around, really spongy. I suppose sliding/slipping straining injuries could be caused by that, but certainly not broken bones!

That's what I meant by "minor injuries". I certainly don't think our training pitches cause any major injury of any kind (bar the odd over-zealous tackle).

You can stay in my spare room, but flights are on you my man.

The Union ground is in a mint place too, Chester. It's delightful there.

As of the census of 2010, there were 33,972 people living in the city. The racial makeup of the city was 17.2% White, 74.7% Black, 0.4% Native American, 0.6% Asian, 0.1% Native Hawaiian, 3.9% of some other race, and 3.0% from two or more races. 9.0% were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

It's fun being a minority.

An MR scan today (Monday) has revealed that Gareth Bale has suffered a ruptured ankle ligament.

The Wales international was forced off with the injury in the second half of our weekend fixture against Blackpool.

Following consultations with an ankle specialist, Gareth will remain in a protective boot for up to 12 days before beginning rehabilitation with the player expected to be fit for the start of pre-season.

We're looking for french players right?

If we got at least two of them we would need at least 8 to 10 more spots to park on

7 years since we booed Sir Bobby's team after we had seemingly only managed to get a UEFA cup place and not a Champions League spot

Most would give an arm and a leg to be in the same position now, you can probably pin-point that day and the start of the steady decline.

True, it's all relative though. We'd had a season of decline and frustration which was compounded by the gutless defeat in Marseilles only a few days before. The game had a late Shearer penalty miss and it just emcompassed a "close yet so far" feel to the season

I love though how not a single Newcastle fan will generally admit to snubbing the lap of honour. Hands up, I did- I was in the Strawberry two minutes after the final whistle.

Things might've been so, so different had Shearer scored that pen like, horrible to think about really.

The question is: why the fuck wasn't Shola taking it?

That's hardly a bold prediction.

Neither is it accurate. We weren't relegated for another 3 years

It also wasn't definite. It just said 'could'.

I don't think anyone was being Mystic Meg, but the Shepherd disaster was hardly a post-Ashley revelation

“At first we thought it was Jesus, but when the staff had a closer look we were told by our Doctor, who has followed English football for many years, that it was actually an image of former Welsh footballer Robbie Savage. It was a moment that changed their lives.”

Love these japes.  Great writing - except for the glaring error in the last sentence....

It does look 'fake' the way the leg just flops about and the other guy is like just shoving it away trying to get the ball.
