Probably posted somewhere else, but worth me saying FUCK OFF again..

Stoke's fans will make more noise than Manchester City at Wembley this weekend - but Liverpool are apparently the Premier League's loudest.

Stoke have been famously dubbed the Premier League's loudest fans ever since Sky Sports measured the noise levels in every ground in 2008.

However, unofficial research by website Peter's Fan Chants claims that, while the Potters are still among the league's most noisy, Liverpool now top the standings after raising their levels by nearly 40% since Kenny Dalglish took over as manager.

Manchester United, Aston Villa, Everton, Blackpool and Stoke trail Liverpool in the league, while Fulham, West Brom and Wolves sit at the bottom.

While Stoke can expect to make more noise than Manchester City during Saturday's FA Cup final, Wembley's accoustics

Michael Dennis, Peter's Fan Chants managing director said: "While this survey is not scientific, we have taken a series of measurements on the terraces of each club's home ground and averaged this out across games and the season.

"Contrary to what you might expect with its much larger ground, Manchester City fans are quieter at 71 decibels than Stoke City (83 decibels).

But Wembley Stadium, acoustically, doesn't help the fans and they sound muted compared to their home ground terraces.

"But because each club is allocated roughly the same number of tickets, both sets of supporters will have a level playing field and the opportunity to demonstrate that they are the loudest."

Full table, according to Peter's Fan Chants:

1 Liverpool 97 decibels

2 Man Utd 94

3 Aston Villa 89

4 Everton 86

5 Blackpool 85

6 Stoke 83

7 Newcastle 82

8 West Ham 81

9 Chelsea 80

10 Sunderland 80

11 Arsenal 77

Probably more because of the bad karma he's accrued over the last year that the incident on itself, which is very hazy.

Probably deserves a slap, and would feel better about it if it weren't a) on the verge of a CL final b) instigated by RM staff bitterly watching every single frame of our games to find something to prevent us from winning this. They put complains about 8 of our players + Pep Guardiola for assorted petty incidents.

QPR want Ranieri to replace Warnock

Former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri is being lined up to replace Neil Warnock at Championship winners QPR.

The Loftus Road club's millionaire owners want their fellow countryman to take their side back into the Premier League.

Ranieri, out of work since being sacked by Roma in February, knows Rangers chief Gianni Paladini well and is expected in London in the next few days to discuss a return to English football.

That comes despite the QPR chairman describing the prospect of Warnock being sacked as "nonsense" .

Warnock had questioned his own position publicly following the confirmation the club would not have points deducted over the signing of Alejandro Faurlin.

Ranieri spent four years at Stamford Bridge after replacing Gianluca Vialli in 2000, and has since been at Valencia, Parma, Juventus and his first love, Roma.

The 59-year-old, the first man to suffer from the death by a thousand cuts under Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, has never hidden a desire to come back to English football.

Pressed on the possibility of taking charge at Loftus Road, he said: "I don't know anything about QPR.

"But I love English football and if something happened I'd think about it."

Ouch!
